Cass County Sheriff's Office debuts new registration policy for off-road vehicles
The Cass County Sheriff's Office will accept registrations for all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility task vehicles (UTVs) starting on Aug. 1.
The ordinance establishes where they may be used on the road, along with the specific equipment, insurance, and licensing requirements that are needed to operate them.
All the vehicles on Cass County roadways must be registered with the sheriff's office. The $100 registration fee may be made in person at the building, or online at this website.
You must also provide the following documents upon registration or on the online application:
- Proof of ownership, such as a title, state registration, or other documentation required by the Treasurer.
- Proof of liability insurance
- Valid driver's license
- Any additional documentation required per the ordinance to complete the registration.
Once registration is complete, the Cass County Sheriff's Office will then issue an identification decal that must be displayed on the back of the vehicle. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Cancer Survivor Group Meeting
The Cancer Survivors Support Group will be on Summer break until after Labor Day
The battle against cancer isn’t an easy one. This weekly group is for those with cancer and for those who have “rung the bell” and have survived cancer to gather informally and provide support to each other. This is a non-denominational gathering and all are welcome. The next Cancer Survivor’s Group is meeting is Wednesday @ 7pm. - All are welcome. Strength-support-compassion.

The Kids' Cupboard is open tonight from 5-6 p.m. in the basement of the American Lutheran Church (1941 Silver). It's available for children in need from preschool through 12th grade who live in the Ashland/Greenwood school district. All you have to do to access it is fill out a short registration form, and they are available at the cupboard.

The Kids' Cupboard offers scholarship support to Ashland-Greenwood High School seniors or to AG graduates to help further their education.
