Cancer Survivor Group Meeting

The battle against cancer isn’t an easy one. This weekly group is for those with cancer and for those who have “rung the bell” and have survived cancer to gather informally and provide support to each other. This is a non-denominational gathering and all are welcome. The next Cancer Survivor’s Group is meeting is Wednesday @ 7pm. - All are welcome. Strength-support-compassion.

For the second year we will be holding our scramble at the Ashland Golf Club
We lots of amazing thing planned for this year. Putting for bottles of Booze, big hole in one opportunities, tee off with an ar, and more to be added. We will be limited to 36 teams again so as soon as sign ups are open dont wait. All Proceeds go to first responders

Join us on Saturday March 28 at 1pm for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Candy and monetary donations are most welcome, please bring to the library by March 18 if possible so we can get those eggs filled. We appreciate any volunteers to help us stuff eggs!

Friends of the Library is doing a raffle for the event. Tickets can be purchased starting Sat. March 14 in the library AND at the event so bring a few dollars for a chance to win great prizes!

Week 1.

All church meal - every first Wednesday of the month at the church basement @ 6pm and share a meal!

Week 2.

Guys night out - Most Wednesdays we will listen to a speaker at Gathering Place.

Week 3.

Gals night out - TBD

Week 4.

Invite someone over for dinner - Someone from the church or someone not in the church. Get to know each other and have fun!

Week 5.

Outreach if there are 5 Wednesdays - we will be brainstorming ideas to bless our surrounding communities!

The ALC Closet will be open, Wednesday, March 11 from 4:30 PM to 7 PM and again Saturday, March 14 from 9 AM to noon. All clothing, linens, and shoes are free for everyone! Please bring your own bags to collect items. American Lutheran Church basement, 20th and Silver Street, Ashland Nebraska.

The Kids' Cupboard is open tonight from 5-6 p.m. in the basement of the American Lutheran Church (1941 Silver). It's available for children in need from preschool through 12th grade who live in the Ashland/Greenwood school district. All you have to do to access it is fill out a short registration form, and they are available at the cupboard.

The Kids' Cupboard offers scholarship support to Ashland-Greenwood High School seniors or to AG graduates to help further their education.
