Registration

Registration fee of $40 includes – entry to the AGJW Tournament, Team T-shirt along with a season worth of practices.

Wrestlers PreK (entering K in fall of 2026) through 8th grade.

Parents Meeting/Pictures/Singlets/Shirts

On Monday, December 1st in the AG Middle School Commons Area we will have a quick Parents Meeting at 6:00 along with the other opportunities below. It is very important for you to attend because we will not have other nights for these items.

You will also:

-Pick up your wrestler’s team shirt

-Rent your singlet for the season

-$60 deposit due – Venmo, Cash or Check (will be cashed)

-Deposits will be given back when they are turned back in

-Have your wrestler’s picture taken

Practices

Practices will begin the week of December 7th/8th. We will not know our practice schedule until after registrations are complete.

Coaching Opportunities

Please contact us if you are willing to be a volunteer coach. With the number of wrestlers we have each year we need as many coaches as possible to help our wrestlers learn at practice as well as have coaching at tournaments.

Greenwood Volunteer Fire and Rescue is in critical need for dedicated community members to step up and serve! No experience? No problem! We have monthly training nights, with other training opportunities throughout the year.

What we need:

Firefighters

EMTs

Hands-on experience in emergency medicine

All church meal - every first Wednesday of the month at the church basement @ 6pm and share a meal!

Week 2.

Guys night out - Most Wednesdays we will listen to a speaker at Gathering Place.

Week 3.

Gals night out - TBD

Week 4.

Invite someone over for dinner - Someone from the church or someone not in the church. Get to know each other and have fun!

Week 5.

Outreach if there are 5 Wednesdays - we will be brainstorming ideas to bless our surrounding communities!

The ALC Closet will be open on Wednesday, November 12 from 4:30 PM to 7 PM and again on Saturday, November 15 from 9 AM to noon. All clothing, linens, and shoes are free for everyone! Please bring your own bags to collect your items. American Lutheran Church basement, 20th and Silver Street, Ashland.

The Kids' Cupboard is open tonight from 5-6 p.m. in the basement of the American Lutheran Church (1941 Silver). It's available for children in need from preschool through 12th grade who live in the Ashland/Greenwood school district. All you have to do to access it is fill out a short registration form, and they are available at the cupboard.

The Kids' Cupboard offers scholarship support to Ashland-Greenwood High School seniors or to AG graduates to help further their education. Some of the patrons of the Uptown Saloon were lucky enough to be there when the infamous Bill Murray and his driver made a Pit Stop in Greenwood after the football game. and as he was leaving he gave one of the patrons a $50.00 bill and said buy the house a drink on Tom Osborn!!!and out they went again...He said they were on their way to the Airport in Omaha!!!
