The Kids' Cupboard offers scholarship support to Ashland-Greenwood High School seniors or to AG graduates to help further their education. This support may be used for college, trade school, and more. Applicants must be past or present patrons of the Cupboard. For more information, contact Mr. Richards at the high school or any of the Kids’ Cupboard workers on Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. (in the basement of the American Lutheran Church).

The Kids' Cupboard

The Kids' Cupboard is open tonight (Thursdays) from 5-6 p.m. in the basement of the American Lutheran Church (1941 Silver). It's available for children in need from preschool through 12th grade who live in the Ashland/Greenwood school district. All you have to do to access it is fill out a short registration form, and they are available at the cupboard.

Cellar 426 is a premier destination for everyone with a love for wine, offering a variety of wines crafted with passion and dedication. We pride ourselves on providing an unforgettable experience for our visitors through exceptional wines and outstanding customer service.

We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-oriented, independent workers to join our team as weekday (Monday-Friday) part-time Tasting Room Attendant and weekend (Friday- Saturday) part-time Tasting Room Attendant. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a desire to create a memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests and creating an experience for each person that walks into the tasting room.

• Provide knowledgeable tastings to all guests as well as assist guests in wine selections and purchases.

• Educate customers regarding Cellar 426 wine, our history, and our facility.

• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.

• Handle and prepare food for customers.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and service areas.

• Stock and restock wine and retail merchandise.

• Ensure compliance with all winery policies and legal regulations.

• Other duties associated with a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.

• Some wine knowledge is great, but we will train you for all aspects of the job.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Weekday part-time needs the ability to work 3 to 4 weekdays between 12:00 to 8:00 PM, weekends, and holidays.

• Weekend part-time needs the ability to work 2 weekend shifts between Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday.
