The MAIN EVENT IS in Plattsmouth!

Summertime means Farmers' Markets being held on weekends in many cities, towns and villages all across the country. As with planning any outdoor activity, you should always try to have a plan B.

On Saturday, July 20th,  the sporadic rains in Cass County chased people indoors or under umbrellas. It turned out to be a no-brainer of the soaking option of keeping the market outdoors or finding a nice, dry indoor space.

In Plattsmouth, Stacy Fabrizzio, owner of The Main Event, came to the rescue with her plan B and opened the doors to her new venue for the Farmers' Market vendors.

If you don't know, THE MAIN EVENT is located at 410 Main Street, in the former Plattsmouth Journal newspaper building, next to Mom's Cafe. Stacy bought the building and completely renovated it. It now has a beautiful, sleek and modern vibe. It's Stacy's hope that people will soon realize that there's another local choice for meetings or other gatherings, like bridal or baby showers. Recently, a small wedding and a birthday party were held here.
