TWO CAR SHOWS THIS WEEKEND! Yes, that's right. At the Stir-Up Days festivities in Ashland, NE we have not one but Two Special Car Shows for everyone to enjoy this Saturday & Sunday! FREE ADMISSION!

On Saturday, it's all about Greased Lightnin' with our 50's "Grease" movie themed special car show in Historic Downtown Ashland, NE from noon - 5:00pm. You'll be able to check out the coolest vintage rides from the era.

On Sunday from noon - 3:30pm it's the car enthusiast event of the year with the HUGE Ashland Car Show showcasing hundreds of incredible cars in one of Nebraska's biggest annual car show events. Come to beautiful, historic Downtown Ashland, Nebraska on Silver Street to enjoy the show along with lots of food, fun events like the Craft Show, Dunk Booth, and Axe Throwing and more! Come out and join us for a day of shopping during Ashland Stir-Up Days! We’ll be located next to the Ashland Dog Park on Silver Street in the lot in front of the sand volleyball courts. Just two blocks down from the Ashland Car Show! Over 100 vendors to shop with as well as food, beverages and fun for kids!

We are holding 3 summer sessions:

1 week camp June 12th-15th (These classes meet each day Monday through Thursday)

2 week session June 26th-29th (These classes meet each day Monday through Thursday)

4 week session July 10th-August 3rd (These classes meet once a week for 4 weeks)

Colton"Fiest and former and current husker football players are putting on the 2nd Annual Next Level Football camp. The deadline to signup in order to get a t-shirt is approaching in about 3 weeks on June 15th! This camp is for boys or girls at any school going into grades 2nd-8th this upcoming fall. ASHLAND AMERICAN LUTHERAN CHURCH 

The Kids' Cupboard will be open tonight from 5-6:30 p.m. in the basement of the American Lutheran Church (1941 Silver). It’s available for children who qualify for free and reduced school lunch from preschool through 12th grade who live in the Ashland/Greenwood school district. All you have to do to access it is fill out a brief registration form, and they’re available at the cupboard.

The Kids' Cupboard offers scholarship support to Ashland-Greenwood High School seniors or to AG graduates to help further their education. Guitars for Vets is a program that teaches military Veterans how to play a Guitar for those wishing to participate. The Vets program issues the Vets a loaner guitar to learn on.

Musicians at the Cornhusker Country Music Theater in Louisville, NE, plus anyone out there who is a guitarist, and wishes to donate their time to teaching, will be showing Vets the learning process so they too can enjoy playing. It's a wonderful pasttime and hobby for both the seasoned musician and the new player.

At the end of the teaching program, each Vet who participated will be provided with a new guitar, books and guitar accessories by The Guitar for Vets Program. From that point on they can move forward with their learning process. On a guitar there is no limit to the amount of learning a person can achieve. They will come away with something they can enjoy for the rest of their lives. Please help to give back to someone who has unselfishly given so much for our country.
