Bluejay Breakfast … Please Join Us!
Mark your calendars now for our March “Bluejay Breakfast” to be held Wednesday, March 15th, at 7:20 a.m. in the Ashland-Greenwood Middle School/High School cafeteria. As a reminder, a free breakfast will be served at 7:20 a.m. Following breakfast, an informative program will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. EVERYONE is welcome to attend this event, and we are hoping for a large turnout of parents, grandparents, patrons, and members of our local businesses.
Once again, a tremendous educational presentation will be provided at the March 15th, “Bluejay Breakfast.” Ashland-Greenwood Elementary School teachers will provide information related to the new math curriculum (Envisions 2.0) that is being implemented at grades K-5. The Envisions 2.0 curriculum was selected in response to the increased rigor of the Nebraska State Math Standards and AGPS's desire to ensure our students have the opportunity to meet and exceed the state math performance expectations. The program will conclude at approximately 8:00 a.m. Feel free to park at the north end of the lot. You may use the sidewalk around the north side to access the northwest cafeteria entrance.
I am confident that attendees will find the presentation to be engaging, informative, and educational. This is our opportunity to build strong lines of communication with our constituents and to promote the incredible things happening within our district. And as a reminder, it includes a FREE BREAKFAST!
Please email me at email@example.com if you plan to attend.
We hope to see you at the Middle School/High School cafeteria on Wednesday, March 15th at 7:20 a.m.
Spring parent-teacher conferences for the 2016-2017 school year are scheduled for Monday, March 13th and Wednesday, March 15th. Parent-teacher conferences are an important opportunity for parents, teachers, and students to communicate about school.
Often, this time can be used to communicate student achievements and goals for the rest of the school year. In addition, parents can ask questions and seek out strategies that can help improve their student's performance. Do you wonder what questions might be good to ask? Well, check out the link below that gives parents an idea of good questions to ask teachers.
If your student is in grades 6-12, you may register online. Below find a link to the sign-up page. Please take a moment and complete the registration.
